Weather for motorists
The Highways Agency gives warnings of traffic bottlenecks caused by roadworks or other impediments here and of road closures due to weather conditions or incidents here.
TrafficEngland gives current bottlenecks, etc., on major motorways and A-routes.
Met Office world weather information offers links to UK, Europe, World, Aviation, Marine, and Events.
There is also user information and training for aviators, including free weather forecasts.

BTX Weather - Sea conditions in UK waters for small boats - also satellite weather data and links to further weather-on-the-Web sites.
Mariners will already know, but as a reminder Radio 4 (FM 92.4-94.6MHz, Long Wave 198kHz) puts out Shipping forecasts at 5.35 a.m., 12 noon (LW only) and 12.48 after midnight.

The UK Hydrographic Office can provide historic (back to 100AD!), current and future tidal predictions along with lunar predictions. Some services are charged for, but the next 7 days are free.
Flying Weather - Airport forecasts
If you fly into and out of UK airports, including such places as Shoreham and Cosford, then Net-Weather.co.uk may fit your needs.
Another option is uk airport weather from theweatheroutlook.com.
And the Met Office world weather information link already quoted above also gives weather info for pilots.
